Tenor Jose Heredia and Mezzo-Soprano Glenmer Perez along with the Dominican Embassy in Cairo, Egypt, will present a recital of duets and Dominican Songs to commemorate Dominican Republic’s 181st year of independence from Haiti. The event will take place at the Cairo National Opera Theater in Cairo, Egypt.
Regina Opera Presents: “I Pagliacci” by Ruggiero Leoncavallo. Tenor Jose Heredia will be reprising the role of the jealous and volatile “Canio/Pagliaccio” in this new production staged by Sabrina Palladino and conducted by Maestro Scott Jackson Wiley. Jose will sing the role of Jesus of Nazareth in this Opera by Dominican Composer Rafael Danilo Grullon (1935-2016). Performances will be at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with the Dominican Symphonic Orchestra.

I will be representing my native Dominican Republic alongside six other incredible singers, each representing their countries across the Caribbean.
